Hi! I'm Camilla Dunn and I'm a history education major at UVU. I've been interested in education for as long as I can remember and I'm really excited to go and learn more about how other countries (especially Finland) focus on education. I have never traveled abroad before, but my grandmother lived in Finland for two years as a young woman and my husband is half Swedish and has spent a lot of time between the United States and Sweden so I've been dying to visit these places. I am a teacher's aid at a Montessori school where I work with the early childhood class mostly (3 - 6 year old kids) but I help sub in all the classes which is really fun and I love learning about the Montessori method. To me, a great classroom is where students can feel safe, supported and seen. I think that the biggest adventure I have gone on so far is when I moved to California and participated in the Disney College Program in 2019 - it was an amazing experience that gave me a lot of confidence in myself.
