Introducing Regional GEA Alumni Gatherings

At our January GEA leadership huddle we talked at length about how hard we work to structure trips in a way that facilitates opening conversations amongst educators that might last for years, even decades (we hope!) to come. So many alumni tell us that the connections they make with their fellow teacher travelers profoundly impact their lives, both personally and professionally. In that spirit, we are so excited to introduce yearly Regional GEA Alumni Gatherings. Our first gathering will be held at the Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City on 4 February 2023

The purpose of these regional gatherings springs from two key cornerstones of GEA’s mission and purpose: to develop and expand intercultural competency and to connect directly with other educators in order to collaborate and converse. And of equal importance: we want to provide our dedicated educators with an opportunity to engage in a day of self-care and connection that will sustain you in the tireless and demanding work you do in your daily lives.

In appreciation for our GEAllies,

we are covering the costs of regional gatherings

for all alumni/newsletter recipients (small surcharge will apply for others)

THANK YOU!
